As my wife and I stood in the lobby and listened to the choir practice that evening, we were literally moved to tears. I recorded about a minute of the singing on my phone and have played it for some friends, and some have had a similar response. I don't know the title of the song that you were rehearsing that night, but the lyrics were from John Chapter 14.

I'm sure that the choir is loved and appreciated in Malmesbury, but please know that on that June 1st evening, you were an incredible blessing to a couple who just happened to be in the right place at the right time!

Thank you for such a marvellous contribution to the launch of the Woodbridge and Draycot sections of the Athelstan Pilgrim Way last Saturday at great Somerford Church. The choice of pieces was amazing, they were so apt for the occasion and the sound was outstanding. Many people commented afterwards how much they enjoyed the performance.
